Buda Castle, also known as the Royal Palace, proudly stands atop Castle Hill in Budapest and is one of the iconic landmarks that shape the city’s unique skyline.
Located in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Castle District, it is home to several museums and churches, the most famous being Matthias Church. From the Fisherman’s Bastion, there is a breathtaking view of the city and the Parliament building on the opposite side of the Danube.
